Our mission is to provide high-quality products and exceptional omni-channel retail customer experience at affordable prices.We’re a customer and people first company from Day 1.For us, our culture, love for our customers and care for our employees is non-negotiable.We’re bootstrapped and strongly believe in unit economics and sustainable growth over burning investor money in the name of expansion.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a ‘superstar’ Fabric Sourcing professional based in Gurugram, 6 days a week.If you think you are the best fabric sourcing professional (across woven and knits) we’re looking for you.This is middle-management role, in an individual contributor role.Only professionals with minimum 3-5 years of working experience in fabric sourcing (both woven and knits, SS and AW), in a premium fashion brand (with in-house manufacturing), or premium garments export house should apply.As a Fabric Sourcing specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, selecting and procuring any and every fabric type for our apparel products.This role involves continuous coordination with vendors, identification of new vendors and their evaluation and follow-ups on a daily basis, and may involve travelling in-city and domestically in India to meet various suppliers and vendors.You will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of high-quality fabrics that meet our design and quality standards.Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability in our fabric sourcing process.Note: Individuals with experience of mainly working in a buying house or focused on TNA coordination must not apply.QualificationsPrevious working experience in fabric sourcing (both woven and knits) is mustStrong knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and suitability for various garment typesExcellent working relationships and network with mills, wholesalers, traders is mustAbility and experience of working with high and low MOQs, new fabric development etc.Knowledge of various garment finishes and vendors is mustStrong knowledge of fabric pricing methodologyAbility to evaluate fabric quality is essentialAbility to ‘hunt down’ the best suppliers for the required fabric from any corner and geographyUnderstanding of sourcing processes, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and relationship managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality or performance issuesExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliersDetail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesProficient in MS Excel or other data analysis toolsBachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related fieldWho are you:Structured thought-processHigh Focus towards executionCreative problem solverWell organised, detail-orientedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurious about learning about everything there’s to be learnt about fabrics and fashion industryFirst principles thinkerAbility to simplify complex issuesThrive on challenges and short timelinesWhat we offer?Best in the industry compensationRapid career growth and growth p…
