What this role is
This is a full-lifecycle designer role — not a sketch-only position. You will own the garment from concept through production, fittings, and client delivery.
- Lead client consultations and translate briefs into design sketches
- Select fabrics, embellishments, and embroidery styles (chiffon, tulle, satin, organza)
- Coordinate closely with tailors and embroidery specialists throughout production
- Conduct all three customer fittings and manage alterations
- Perform quality checks at every production milestone
- Manage multiple concurrent orders against firm delivery timelines
- Provide personalised styling guidance to high-end clients
What we are looking for
- 5–10 years in bridal / couture fashion (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in garment construction, pattern reading, fittings, and alterations
- Strong command of luxury fabrics and surface embellishments
- Proven ability to work with and lead a tailoring team
- Professional client-handling skills in a luxury retail environment
- Dubai / GCC market experience preferred; Arabic / modest fashion exposure is a plus
- Formal fashion design qualification preferred but not mandatory
