Full Job Description
A fast growing junior clothing manufacturer located in Commerce, California is seeking a talented, dedicated individual to join our design team as an assistant. This is a position with high growth potential and opportunities to gain valuable experience in design, production management, and business insight.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the designer to conceptualize and sketch design ideas for new collections.
2. Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, styles, and fabrics that resonate with our target audience.
3. Create detailed technical sketches and CADs using design software. Create cut ticket as part of tech packs for pre-production department
4. Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories from suppliers and maintaining records of materials.
5. Collaborate with the production team to communicate design specifications and resolve any production related issues.
