Job Overview

We are seeking a Field Visual Merchandiser who will be responsible for brand aesthetics and spatial storytelling for our flagship stores—the most critical, high-traffic locations in the country. You will translate global brand guidelines into a localized experience that drives conversion, while tracking sell-through rates and inventory flow.

What You Will Achieve

  1. Implement global brand visual guidelines, spatial design standards, and brand tone. Manage all in-store visual merchandising operations for the flagship store, including displays and installation, store zoning layout, product shelving, accent lighting checks, and promotional material arrangement. Maintain consistent in-store aesthetics aligned with brand positioning.
  2. Handle daily visual maintenance, weekly display refinements, monthly thematic updates, and holiday campaign setups. Conduct daily store walkthroughs to correct disorganized displays, out-of-stock presentations, and misplaced props. Optimize retail zones and hero product presentation to maximize product exposure and inventory turnover. Lead weekly VM audits to ensure full compliance with brand standards.
  3. Collaborate with the in-store sales and marketing team to develop visual strategies for new product launches, seasonal themes, promotional events, and holiday campaigns. Align in-store visuals with brand marketing rhythms, highlight bestsellers, new arrivals, and promotions, and improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
  4. Oversee inventory, organization, maintenance, and lifecycle management of all in-store display props, signage, and marketing materials. Inspect prop damage and shortages, submit re-issues, customization, and repair requests, and coordinate with vendors for installation. Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Manager to ensure VM props or fixtures do not create blind spots or theft risks.
  5. Analyze store sales reports, product sell-through data, and customer foot traffic data to evaluate merchandising performance. Optimize display layouts, product grouping, and IP zone planning, and provide visual optimization summaries to improve impact on retail revenue.
  6. Train store associates on visual merchandising principles, standard display rules, and daily maintenance practices. Unify in-store visual standards, standardize operational details, and establish internal visual merchandising SOPs for the flagship store.
  7. Occasionally support new store openings, store renovations, pop-up events, and exhibition projects. Participate in visual planning, on-site setup, and cross-store regional support as required by headquarters.

What You Will Need

  1. Associate’s degree or above in Visual Communication, Fashion Design, Retail Design, Interior Design, or related fields. Candidates with strong visual portfolios are considered regardless of academic background.
  2. 3–5 years of visual merchandising experience in retail, with an understanding of store layout principles, color coordination, and visual presentation skills. 1+ years of experience in retail flagship stores is preferred. Candidates with trendy toy brand experience are preferred.
  3. Proficient in color grading and spatial layout. Capable of independently planning, executing, adjusting, and recapping full-cycle visual merchandising projects. Basic skills in Photoshop, CAD, or visual rendering tools are a plus; able to produce display sketches and guideline layouts.
  4. Basic data analysis capability to adjust visual strategies based on sales performance. Organized, detail-focused, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with store management and sales teams.
  5. Familiar with U.S. retail peak season rhythms and able to support high-intensity work during seasonal resets and holiday sales periods. Available for short-term regional support and on-site project assignments when needed.
