noon, the region’s leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

What you’ll do:

Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we’ve encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we’re driving major missions forward.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and challenges.

Drive resolution and support in overcoming challenges relating to finance.

Control leakages and set processes to optimize or minimize any leakage.

Provide financial advice and support to drive business performance.

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.

Data Analytics

Gather or query data, from primary and secondary sources.

Cleanse data and analyze reports and outputs.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Develop data dashboards to support decision-making across departments.

Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.

Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.

Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights.

Budgeting and Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting

Ensure accurate and timely submission of budgets and forecasts

Analyze variances between actuals and budgets/forecasts and provide explanations.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Leverage financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and analysis.

What you’ll need:

CFA, CA or ACCA or is preferred.

3-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, focusing on financial analysis and business partnering.

Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.

Good SQL knowledge.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strategic thinking and ability to influence decision-making.
