Store Manager | MAF Retail | Supermarket KSA

Role Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of supermarket operations to ensure exceptional customer service, optimal sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. The role drives business growth through effective stock management, team leadership, cost control, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Role Profile

  • Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket strategies, policies, and operational procedures in collaboration with Head Office and Corporate Office teams.
  • Analyze commercial and operational performance, identifying opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and market competitiveness.
  • Maximize store sales and profitability by effectively managing operational expenses within approved budgets.
  • Review stock, inventory, and sales reports regularly, taking corrective actions to address performance gaps and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads to ensure efficient stock management, availability of products, reduced out-of-stock situations, and timely replenishment.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop store teams to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee maintenance, safety, and facility management activities to ensure store assets remain fully operational and compliant with company standards.
  • Support talent development and performance management processes by setting objectives, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and recognizing achievements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant retail experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of supermarket operations, sales management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
