Full Job Description
Come join ourFashion Cents Teamat our newest location located next to BBs Grocery outlet in Quarryville. We are looking for aFull-time Assistant Manager positionwith aflexible availability between 8am – 8pmthat willassist the management in overseeing operations, training, customer service, creative ideas for improvement, and conflict management.Pay is based on experience and availability
Responsibilities are:
Handle Store Inventory/Communicate needs to with G.M. and/or warehouse team
Unloading/Loading Trucks
Merchandising/Coming up with Creative ways to sell things
Run register
Fitting rooms, vendor carts & consignor carts
Cash management/ Prepare Deposits
Interviewing potential employees
Developing staff including reviews, coaching and corrective action
Ensure all employees are on task and give direction when needed
Setting up Tent Sales
Opening and/or closing the consignment center & Store
Assist in fixing consignor mix ups
Answering any consignment center related questions
Answer walkie calls and phone calls that require manager
Training new employees in the store/cc
Problem solve and use creative thinking to prevent problems and create a better working environment
Greeting, assisting and helping consignors
Resolving customer/consignor complaints
Shifting, pulling clothing on sales floor to make room for incoming consignments
Walking the floor with managers to determine be select items
Create a positive, fun and friendly work environment for all staff and customers
Motive the team to reach daily goals
Work hands on/ side by side with the team leading by example on drop offs, hanging clothing, sorting clothing, tagging clothing, running clothing racks to the floor , pricing inventory and any other daily tasks
At Fashion Cents we have both flexible and consistent scheduling options Monday thru Friday and at least one Saturday off per month. Family is important to us, so we are closed on Sundays.
