Salt Spa is looking to expand our team of highly skilled professionals! We are hiring for full-time and part-time, experienced Salon Hair Stylists . Salt Spa has modern facilities, quality products and an elevated atmosphere. As a part of The Reeds at Shelter Haven, Salt Spa serves an upscale clientele who are traveling for leisure, business and weddings, Year-Round. We are looking for someone to serve our guests needs and can commit to 4 seasons operations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles and up do’s, and ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Provide up do’s for special occasions or events.
Mentor and train junior stylists, sharing techniques and best practices.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Promote retail products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their experience.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques, straight razor skills.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in retail sales with a focus on upselling products.
Ability to mentor and guide less experienced stylists effectively.
Skilled in using straight razors for precise haircuts is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
