We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional grooming services and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Barber, you will play a key role in enhancing the confidence of our clients through expert haircuts, shaves, and grooming services. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling hair care products to clients.
Mentor junior barbers and assist with training on techniques and customer service best practices.
Deliver excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
Perform nail care services as needed, ensuring all hygiene standards are met.
Handle front desk duties including check-ins, check-outs, and managing client inquiries.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and techniques.
Experience in retail sales with an emphasis on upselling products.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Ability to mentor others and share expertise effectively within the team.
Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management purposes.
