Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair cutting and styling techniques, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients while creating a welcoming atmosphere in the salon.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using various tools, including straight razors.
Provide hair coloring services while applying knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results.
Offer additional services such as hair extensions and nail care to enhance client satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Upsell products and services effectively to meet client needs and contribute to salon growth.
Mentor junior staff members by sharing expertise and best practices in barbering techniques.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and service offerings.
Requirements
Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in various barbering techniques, including straight razor shaving and hair cutting styles.
Experience with hair extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of retail math for effective upselling strategies.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with makeup application is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
