Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair care and styling, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a strong background in various hair treatments and styles.
Responsibilities:
– Provide professional hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend the most suitable hairstyles
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitize all tools and work areas
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Manage appointments efficiently using MINDBODY software
– Mentor junior stylists and assist in their skill development
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques including hair extensions, barbering, and nail care
– Strong understanding of color theory for hair treatments
– Previous experience in store management is a plus
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Familiarity with MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling
– Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour
