Responsibilities:
– Provide professional hair care services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend the most suitable hairstyles
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitization standards in work areas and tools
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Demonstrate expertise in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and retail sales
– Mentor junior stylists to enhance their skills
Experience:
– Previous experience working as a Hair Stylist in a salon setting
– Proficiency in using salon software for appointments and inventory management
– Knowledge of color theory for hair coloring services
– Familiarity with straight razor techniques for precision cuts
– Ability to sanitate tools and work areas effectively
Nice-to-have Skills:
– Makeup application skills for special occasions or events
– Retail sales experience to promote salon products
– Strong understanding of nail care techniques
