We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Hair Stylist Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about the beauty industry who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, professional salon environment. The assistant will support stylists with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and ensure a welcoming, professional experience
Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients for styling services
Assist stylists with blow-drying, color application, foiling, and other services
Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon stations, tools, and equipment
Launder towels, capes, and other materials as needed
Keep stock of hair care products and assist with inventory restocking
Sweep and sanitize between clients to maintain salon cleanliness standards
Provide general support for stylists and front desk as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current cosmetology license or enrollment in an accredited cosmetology school
Strong communication and customer service skills
Energetic, reliable, and able to take direction well
Passion for the beauty industry and a willingness to learn
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
