We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a assistant Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while fostering a welcoming and positive environment. Your expertise in various techniques, including hair washing ,customer service booking appointments maintaining salon duty , will enhance the overall client experience.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services,
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and beauty.
Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Educate clients on proper hair care and maintenance products.
Perform makeup application services as needed.
Manage retail sales by applying retail math principles to upsell products effectively.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace.
Participate in promotional events and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
Proven experience as assistant at Hair salon showcasing your work.

Knowledge of color theory and its application in various hair treatments.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to mentor and guide less experienced staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
