Responsibilities:
– Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling
– Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences
– Utilize salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information
– Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with services
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Demonstrate expertise in retail sales by recommending products for at-home hair care
Skills:
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques and trends
– Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Knowledge of retail math to support product sales
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
– Ability to upsell services and products to enhance the client experience
– Experience with eyelash extensions, nail care, or other beauty services is a plus
– Proven track record in retail sales within a salon setting
– Capability for mentoring junior stylists to foster growth and skill development
– Dedication to providing exceptional customer service to create a positive salon experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
