We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist stylists with various hair services, including hair extensions, barbering, and hair threading.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas to ensure a safe environment.
Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling customer inquiries.
Utilize salon software for appointment management and client records.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Prepare clients for services by offering beverages and ensuring they are comfortable.
Support stylists during services by providing necessary tools and products as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience or training in cosmetology or barbering is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with straight razor techniques is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
Knowledge of salon software systems is beneficial for managing appointments and client information.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the salon environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
