Responsibilities
*Provide full salon services such as Haircuts, Coloring, Perms and Styling *Answer the phone / schedule / re-schedule / adjust services when needed *Help maintain cleanliness of salon and your station *Advise and recommend services and products based on hair care needs *Follow the client journey format *Keep abreast of new styles, techniques & professional products for retail *Participate with marketing & advertising to walk-by traffic & through social media
Qualifications
*Book of clients equivalent to 30hr services /wk *Current PA cosmetology license *Excellent communication and customer service skills *Strong attention to detail *Familiarity with salon scheduling software *Familiarity with social media – facebook, instagram, nextdoor etc (make posts on your personal page, join groups)
Wage Range
*Commission & tips AND *Sliding scale commission associated with products sold – both thru e-commerce and in-salon *Keep your chair occupancy at 80% or higher. Potentially consider having an assistant to help with the shampooing, sweeping, chart updates, once you’re maintaining at least 35hr/week services.
