Duties:
– Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques to offer innovative styles
– Perform hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup applications as needed
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
– Assist with front desk duties when required
Experience:
– Must have a valid cosmetology license
– Proven experience in hair styling with expertise in various techniques
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Knowledge of retail sales and experience in upselling salon products
– Familiarity with hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application is a plus
– Previous experience in store management or mentoring other stylists is advantageous
