Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and customer service, with expertise in a variety of salon services.
Duties:
– Provide hair cutting, coloring, and styling services
– Perform nail care treatments including manicures and pedicures
– Offer facial treatments and makeup application
– Conduct hair removal services such as waxing and threading
– Utilize straight razor techniques for shaving services
– Demonstrate proficiency in barbering for male clientele
– Apply retail math skills to recommend and sell beauty products
– Upsell salon services and retail products to clients
– Manage store inventory and assist in store management duties
– Mentor junior staff members in cosmetology techniques
Skills:
– Proficiency in cosmetology techniques
– Experience with hair styling, including cutting and coloring
– Knowledge of nail care procedures
– Familiarity with straight razor shaving techniques
– Ability to perform hair threading and other hair removal services
– Strong upselling skills to promote additional services and products
– Previous experience in store management is a plus
– Excellent mentoring abilities to guide junior staff members

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $24.27 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
