HEAD OF MERCHANDISING- Premium Technical Apparel & Footwear
Location:Hybrid (1-2 days max per week in SW England) with flexible working pattern
Report to:Product Director
Role Overview:
Heading up a team of 8, you will support this strong performing business with a positive period of change, allowing it’s continued expansion within the Premium Sports and Lifestyle sector.
Support the Product Director in the evolution of the 3 year Sales and Stock Strategy.
Collaborate with the Head of Buying and Key Stakeholders on the creation of the company buying strategy, ensuring that product is in the right place at the right time and at the right level to maximize profit and manage stock.

Experience Required/Person Specification
Current experience as Merchandising Manager or above
A premium product background, ideally within Apparel or Footwear. Exposure to a Branded Buying environment is an advantage but not essential
Sports or Lifestyle product experience
Developed Team Management experience within Retention, Disciplinaries, and Recruitment
Experience of driving and supporting business change
High Commercial Awareness
Able to translate strategic business vision into tangible delivery
Can create analytical framework that enables effective decision making
