We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Retail to lead and scale our retail operations across multiple stores. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, elevating customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across all retail touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own overall retail P&L performance across all stores
- Develop and execute retail strategy to drive sales growth and profitability
- Lead and manage Regional / Area Managers and Store Managers
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and customer experience across all locations
- Drive in-store conversion rate, average transaction value, and footfall growth
- Optimize store operations including staffing, inventory flow, and merchandising
- Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams
- Identify opportunities for new store openings, relocations, or closures
- Build a strong performance culture across retail teams through coaching and leadership development
- Analyze sales data and customer insights to support decision-making
Requirements:
- 8–15+ years of experience in retail operations
- Proven experience in furniture, home appliances, home improvement, or home décor retail (required)
- Strong track record of managing multi-store or national/regional retail operations
- Experience owning or co-owning P&L responsibility
- Strong leadership experience managing large frontline teams (Store Managers / Area Managers)
- Deep understanding of retail KPIs (conversion rate, ATV, UPT, traffic, shrinkage)
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to balance sales, operations, and customer experience
- Data-driven and highly execution-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
