Our client is an international luxury womenswear brand celebrated for its modern, timeless signature of sensuality and ease. With over 150 stores globally and rapidly accelerating demand across Asia, they are seeking a strategic Head of Wholesale to lead and represent the region.
The Head of Wholesale is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for driving the commercial performance, brand equity, and operational excellence of the brand in Asia market, with a strong focus in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional business development initiatives and partner strategies to hit sales targets across new and existing markets.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key department stores, luxury retailers, specialty boutiques, and strategic partners throughout the region.
- Lead all seasonal market appointments, product presentations, assortment planning, and order negotiations with regional partners.
- Leverage a deep understanding of Asian fashion trends and retail needs to collaborate with the global head office on tailored merchandising and assortment strategies.
- Compile and analyze weekly/monthly sales, stock, and best-seller reports to deliver actionable business insights that maximize regional sell-through.
- Collaborate with HQ marketing and retail team to support brand activations, wholesale events, and strategic client initiatives throughout the region.
- Partner closely with regional accounts on pricing structures, markdown schedules, and promotional strategies to safeguard brand equity and margin targets.
- Represent Asia retail and wholesale interests in weekly global company forums, championing regional needs and product performance trends.
- Deliver inspiring, informative seasonal brand and product training to ensure partners are fully equipped to maximize sales on the retail floor.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in luxury retail, managing wholesale/ franchise business.
- China market experience is a must. APAC experience is preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of driving sales growth with partners.
- Established network with retailers, departments stores, speciality stores and landlords.
- Strong business acumen, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with entrepreneurial mindset.
- Mandarin and English are required.
