Inventory & Accessories Buyer Jobs in Dallas, TX at Miss A
We are looking for a sharp, data-driven Inventory & Accessories Buyer to own e-commerce inventory performance and drive the accessories assortment across both our private label and third-party brand portfolio. This is a hybrid role that requires equal comfort with inventory analytics and trend-driven buying — you will sit at the intersection of supply chain and merchandising, to ensure the right product is available at the right time across the ecommerce platform.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management — E-Commerce
- Own in-stock and inventory health for the shopmissa.com assortment — monitor sell-through, weeks of supply, and turnover KPIs daily
- Generate and maintain reorder quantity recommendations for the Sourcing team based on demand forecasting, sales velocity, and lead times
- Manage excess and slow-moving inventory — identify markdown, bundling, or promotional opportunities to clear aged stock
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to align purchase order timing with warehouse capacity and fulfillment cycles
- Maintain inventory accuracy across Shopify, Infoplus, and NetSuite — flag and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Develop and maintain open-to-buy (OTB) plans by category, ensuring inventory investment stays within budget
Accessories Buying — Private Label
- Own the accessories buying calendar for private label products and third-party brands carried on shopmissa.com with Director of Buying.
- Develop seasonal assortment plans by category
- Manage online product catalog
Analytics & Reporting
- Produce weekly and monthly inventory and buying performance reports — sell-through, OTB variance, in-stock rate, reorder accuracy
- Analyze sales data by SKU, category, and channel to identify top performers, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain item-level data hygiene in NetSuite and Shopify — ensure accurate cost, vendor, and lead time records
- Present buying recommendations and assortment strategies to senior leadership in clear, data-backed narratives
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in retail buying, inventory planning, or merchandise planning — beauty, accessories, or fast fashion preferred
- Demonstrated experience owning reorder and replenishment processes in a high-SKU retail environment
- Strong analytical skills — fluency in Excel / Google Sheets; experience building and maintaining OTB plans
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Familiarity with DTC / e-commerce inventory dynamics
- Ability to move fast, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions in an ambiguous, high-growth environment
Preferred
- Experience buying accessories, jewelry, or beauty tools for a multi-channel retailer
- Experience with Shopify or similar DTC platforms
- Exposure to private label / ODM sourcing workflows

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
