Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Jewelry CAD Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual jewelry designs into detailed, precise 3D models using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. Your creativity and technical expertise will help bring unique jewelry ideas to life, ensuring they meet both aesthetic standards and manufacturing specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of stunning jewelry collections, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that captivate our customers. We do not have a set salary, piece work-1099-Must Have A 3D Printer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models of jewelry pieces based on initial sketches, concept art, or client specifications using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, or other 3D modeling tools
- Collaborate with designers, gemologists, and manufacturing teams to refine designs for feasibility and production efficiency
- Create accurate technical drawings and visualizations that communicate design intent clearly for manufacturing and prototyping
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation throughout the product lifecycle management process
- Stay updated on current jewelry trends.
- 10 plus expert experience in jewelry CAD design and manufacturing of jewelry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and graphic design software for illustration and presentation purposes
- Strong skills in CAD software (such as Rhino, MatrixGold, or equivalent) with a portfolio demonstrating complex jewelry modeling projects
- Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and manufacturers.
