Jr. Colorist Needed for Organic, Curly Salon Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Virgo
We are hiring a Junior Stylist to train in our services with the intention of them becoming Full-fledged Stylists at our salon. We believe in investing in our talent and prefer to train and promote from within.
We are looking for an Jr. Stylist to help run our salon and coordinate day-to-day services. The Jr. Stylist’s responsibilities include performing salon services (toners, treatments, and other services based on your skill set., supporting our stylists by setting up their workspaces, keeping the salon and stations immaculate, and assisting clients when needed, Some light cleaning and laundry are required as well.
To be successful in this role, you should be interested in beauty trends and familiar with hair salon operations. Ultimately, you will help us maintain a profitable hair salon business that offers a quality customer service experience.
Work experience as a Hair Salon Assistant or similar role in the beauty industry preferred
Experience in customer service is a plus
Up-to-date with hair and fashion trends (e.g. colors and styles) especially curly, wavy and textured hair
Solid organizational skills
Familiarity with social media
Certification in Cosmetology
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to commit to a project and be on time everyday

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
