We are seeking a talented cosmetologist to join our team at our upscale salon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and possess excellent customer service skills. As a junior stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
– Assist Senior Stylists in addition to taking new clients
– Perform a variety of hair and beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring, and hair extensions
– Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and preferences
– Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry
– Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, manage client information, and track inventory
– Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their desired outcomes are met
– Provide mentoring and guidance to junior stylists
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license
– Motivated to learn and work as a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Basic retail math skills for upselling salon products
