Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional grooming services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services while also fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to client preferences.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to offer hair coloring services when requested.
Apply makeup and perform eyelash extension services as needed, enhancing the overall client experience.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools in compliance with health and safety standards.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Promote retail sales of hair care products and grooming tools to clients, enhancing their overall experience.
Mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge and techniques in barbering and hair styling practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in hair styling and grooming.
Proficiency in using barbering tools and equipment effectively and safely.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally and build lasting relationships.
Familiarity with MINDBODY software for appointment management is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of retail sales techniques to effectively promote products to clients.
Experience in color theory, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or mentoring is a plus.
A valid barbering license as required by state regulations.
