Overview:
Straight Edge Barbershop, a family-friendly and bustling barbershop located on Route 1 in North Attleboro, MA, is seeking professional barbers tojoin our growing team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality barbering services in a welcoming and professional environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled barbers to work in a busy shop with a steady flow of clients.

Wednesday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Provide a full range of barbering services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and grooming.
Maintain a clean and organized work station.
Take appointments and manage your schedule in accordance with the posted shop hours.
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphereat all times.
Collect and manage your own payments, ensuring compliance with cash-only transactions.
Adhere to all shop pricing structures and guidelines for services.
Withhold and manage your own taxes in compliance with 1099 contractor regulations.
Requirements:
Valid & Current state certified barbering license.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a high-traffic, organized barbershop.
Ability to work a minimum of 5 days per week, including Saturdays.
Professional demeanor and appearance, suitable for afamily-friendly environment.
Reliable and punctual withstrongcommunicationskills.
Must provide your own barbering equipment; a station will be provided for equipment storage.
Willingness to undergo a 30-90 day probationary period.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Manual dexterity to handle and use barber tools withprecisionand control.
Ability to consistently perform precise and repetitive movements with fingers, hands, and wrists.
Visual acuity to see details of objects less than a foot away and differentiate between colors, shades, and brightness.
Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, move, or assemble small objects.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
Stamina to sustain physical activity over prolonged periods.
Ability to move around the work area to accesstools and equipmentand provide services to clients from various angles.
Safety awarenessto maintain asafe working environmentby adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Barbers will be on a commission split with the shop owner by default.
