Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced to join our team at our salon in . The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and possess expertise in barbering, retail sales, store management, salon software Boulevard, nail care, color theory, and the use of straight razors.
Duties:
– Provide exceptional barbering services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims
– Offer retail sales recommendations and assist clients in selecting appropriate menproducts
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the salon, including scheduling appointments, maintaining inventory, and overseeing staff
– Utilize salon software (MINDBODY) to manage client bookings and track sales
– Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
– Demonstrate knowledge of color theory and provide hair coloring services as needed
– Ensure a clean and organized work environment
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a with a strong portfolio of work
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Proficient in using salon software Boulevard for appointment scheduling and sales tracking
– Strong knowledge of barbering techniques, nail care, and color theory
– Familiarity with retail sales techniques and the ability to recommend appropriate beauty products to clients
– Ability to manage a team of salon staff effectively
– Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
– Must be licensed in barber, cosmetology
– Familiarity with using straight razors for shaving
