Adecco Creative and Marketing is partnering with an iconic and one of the largest specialty apparel brands in the United States for an PO Coordinator. This role is $25hr for a 3+ month assignment onsite 3 days a week in NYC.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented PO Coordinator to support a fast-paced, high-volume apparel design and production team. This role is heavily data-driven and focuses on maintaining accuracy across product information, purchase orders, and assortment management using the S5 browser application (new system) along with Excel and other internal tools.
This position is ideal for someone who is extremely organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple departments in a dynamic environment where accuracy and speed are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume, multi-department data entry and maintenance within the S5 browser app and Excel
- Manage the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, including creation, edits, tracking, and updates; ensure PO accuracy and timely processing
- Support ongoing assortment building and updates, including changes to styles, colors, and product details
- Work closely with design and production teams to ensure post-costing updates and style changes are accurately reflected in systems
- Assist with sample management needs, ensuring tracking and updates are maintained across systems
- Pull and organize best sellers rack samples every Tuesday, ensuring timely preparation and accuracy
- Track, verify, and reconcile product and style data across multiple systems to ensure consistency
- Support multiple product categories simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and prioritization
- Continuously monitor data integrity and proactively resolve discrepancies across systems and departments
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in fashion, merchandising, design operations, or data coordination (internship or freelance experience acceptable)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working in high-volume, data-heavy environments
- Experience with or exposure to PLM, PDM, or similar product data systems; familiarity with S5 browser or similar tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of purchase order processes (creation, edits, tracking, and execution)
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage frequent updates across multiple categories and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting deadlines and high accuracy expectations
