Full Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing displays to attract customers and drive sales. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for displays, we want to hear from you. Join our Fashion Cents team in Ephrata as a Merchandiser and showcase your creativity while contributing to the success of our retail environment.
Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Walk the floor daily and evaluate areas that need attention with organizing per the areas of responsibility ( AOR) guidelines and come up with a plan for re-merchandising and execute- Communicate with Store Manager daily
Organize and Create seasonal displays per seasonal merchandise inventory levels make sure all areas are shoppable and not over crowded
Ensure all products are in stock from the Inventory shelves in the warehouse daily and create appealing displays
Research new presentations and layouts making sure to maximize the stores square footage and sales per space used
Train all floor employees on how to correctly keep their area organized, follow up with them as needed
Communicate with team any changes to sections via homebase
Make sure all en-caps have items on them and have a plan to keep them filled at all times
Put out processed merchandise in the morning with the team
Keep the furniture room filled and merchandised paying attention to the furniture not being cluttered and make sure the room is not over crowded
Communicate with warehouse when more furniture needs built
Freshen up the Boutique displays and give the team direction on what to do with displays as needed
Run register as needed
Help with warehouse and consignment tasks as needed
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred
– Experience with store remodeling projects
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
At Fashion Cents we haveflexible and consistent scheduling optionsMonday through Friday andat least one Saturday off each month. Family is important to us, sowe are closed on Sundays.
