Role Description The Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok City, Thailand. This role is responsible for coordinating between customers, sales teams, and production to ensure that orders are executed accurately, on time, and in line with quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing product assortments, monitoring stock levels, analyzing sales data, and preparing reports to support pricing and promotion decisions. The Merchandiser will work closely with retail and marketing teams to plan collections, align merchandising strategies with customer demand, and support visual presentation of products. The role also involves regular communication with buyers and customers, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships to drive repeat business.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, and to prepare clear reports and presentations.
- Customer Service and Sales skills to understand client needs, manage order requirements, and support the achievement of sales targets.
- Retail knowledge and experience to plan assortments, track inventory, and optimize product placement and performance in retail environments.
- Marketing awareness and skills to support product launches, promotions, and merchandising campaigns aligned with brand and market trends.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple orders, timelines, and documentation accurately.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in basic spreadsheets or merchandising software to interpret sales and inventory data.
- Ability to work on-site in Bangkok City, Thailand, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced textile and garment environment.
- Previous experience in merchandising, textiles, apparel, or related fields is preferred; a relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related discipline is an advantage.
