A modern, digitally native fashion brand focused on elevated essentials is looking for a Merchandiser to own assortment planning, inventory management, and product performance. This role is critical in driving profitable growth, balancing creative vision with data-driven decision-making to ensure the right product is available at the right time.
You will partner cross-functionally with Design, Production, and Marketing to shape seasonal assortments and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own seasonal and monthly assortment planning, developing a balanced and compelling product mix aligned with brand strategy, customer demand, and financial goals
- Drive demand forecasting and buying decisions, optimizing buy quantities to support sales plans while managing inventory risk and maximizing sell-through
- Lead replenishment strategy and execution, maintaining strong in-stock rates on core and high-performing styles while improving inventory efficiency
- Analyze product performance, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies
- Monitor key metrics (sell-through, WOS, margins, inventory turns) and adjust plans proactively
- Partner with Design and Product teams to inform product development based on customer and sales insights
- Collaborate with Marketing and E-commerce to support launches, promotions, and lifecycle strategies
- Manage inventory flow, allocations, and reorders to ensure optimal stock positioning across channels
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or planning (preferably in fashion or DTC)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (forecasting, modeling, data analysis)
- Deep understanding of inventory management, assortment planning, and retail metrics
- Ability to balance data-driven decision-making with brand and customer intuition
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
