Merchandising Admin

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Merchandising Admin, to join our expanding commercial team.

As a Merch Admin, you will be responsible for processing of grain purchase and sales transactions and interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis. You will work closely together with Grain Merchandisers, in order to efficiently complete the contract to cash process.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers

Process grain purchase and sales transactions

Accumulate all required documentation for processing (tickets, bill of lading, weight certificates, grade certificates, invoices)

Verify the accuracy of weights, grades, discounts, program charges, and freight liability

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Agro.Club CRM & accounting system

Communicate with customers to resolve payments, past due accounts, and document discrepancies

Collaborate within the commercial team to provide full back-office support for all transactions

Critical requirements

Relevant background and understanding of agriculture trading

Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

Basic knowledge of general accounting principles

Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and propose solutions

Ability to prioritize multiple, detail oriented tasks and meet strict daily deadlines.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
