Overview
Looking for an extremely organized and motivated individual who wants to learn every aspect of how to produce an American made clothing line.
This is a paid Internship, perfect for someone who is still in school or has a part-time job, looking for hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fashion production. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in producing women’s RTW from start to finish. Take your education a step further and come learn from an industry veteran!
Responsibilities
- Assist with fabric orders, sourcing, and trim purchases
- Must have a car and be available to drive to all our production teams (mileage will be compensated)
- QC’ing garments in various factories and maintaining the design integrity of a full range of women’s garments.
- Using your eye for detail to manage possible sewing issues
- Interface between grader, cutter and sewing contractors to produce the clothing
- Qualifications
- 2 years of fashion experience or university level fashion studies
- Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus to communicate effectively with our production teams
- Ability to problem solve and communicate well with owner/designer on a daily basis
- Basic math skills for trim calculations are important
- A proactive attitude is a must
