Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Support sales team leadership through training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Support payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling activities accurately
- Supervise shift activities to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting
- Assist in recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Manage purchasing and vendor relations to maintain optimal stock levels
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry sales team management environment
- Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, and leadership communication skills
- Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems operation
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Prior experience with retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and operational management is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with retail store product knowledge and customer service excellence is essential
