GINGERSNAP BALI is looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our growing creative & product development team. ✨
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in the real fashion development process — from trend research and mood boards to patterns, samples, tech packs, fittings, and final production.
✨ WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support the Head Designer throughout the product development process
Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, prints & design inspiration
️ Create mood boards and contribute ideas for new collections
✂️ Work closely with the Pattern Maker to develop, review & refine patterns
Prepare Tech Packs, measurement charts, grading & garment specifications
Coordinate prototypes based on AI-generated concepts, sketches & visual references
Source fabrics, trims & accessories and communicate with suppliers
Prepare samples, garments & materials for photoshoots and fashion shows
️ Keep the Pattern Room, Sample Room & product documentation organized
Assist with fabric consumption & garment costing together with the Head of Garment
Collaborate with Production, QC & Pattern Making teams to ensure the best product quality
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✔️ Educational background in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Fashion Technology, or a related field
✔️ Good understanding of garment construction, pattern making, grading & technical specifications
✔️ Experience creating Tech Packs & technical drawings
✔️ Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
✔️ Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
✔️ Able to work both independently and collaboratively
✔️ Proficient in Adobe Illustrator — Adobe Photoshop is a plus
✔️ Comfortable using Microsoft Office
✔️ English proficiency is a plus
