Overview

The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24‑hour secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services. This position provides professional hair care services in an inpatient care setting.

Work Information

  • Primary working hours: M‑F, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
  • FLSA status:
    Non‑exempt.
  • Primary work location/department:
    Oklahoma Forensic Center, Vinita, OK – Recreation.
  • Vacancies: 1.

Job Duties

  • Provide haircuts, shampoos or hair treatments.
  • Provide shaves, facials and skin care instruction.
  • Provide manicures and pedicures.
  • Sterilize and sanitize area and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Level II – Current Oklahoma Barber’s License and 36 months of experience as a barber, or licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology as a beautician and 36 months of experience as a beautician.

Level I – Current Oklahoma Barber’s License and six months of experience as a barber, or licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology as a beautician and six months of experience as a beautician.

Special Requirements

Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
