This is a full-time, on-site role based in midtown New York.
Role Description
The Private Client Associate is a high-precision, client-support role responsible for real-time execution in support of Private Client Advisors (PCAs) and the Chief Client Officer (CCO). This role sits at the intersection of clients, inventory, and logistics, ensuring that client requests are answered quickly and visually, items are accurately represented, and shipping and fulfillment are executed flawlessly.
In New York, speed and accuracy drive conversion. This role directly supports revenue by enabling advisors to respond faster and with greater confidence.
Responsibilities
1. Client Communication & Responsiveness
- Communicate directly with clients at PCAs and CCO direction
- Respond to client requests for additional details
- Provide photos, videos, and condition clarifications
- Ensure responses are timely, and accurate
- Escalate complex or sensitive client questions appropriately
- Maintain professional, polished, and brand-appropriate communication
- Ensure all client interactions reinforce trust and confidence
2. Client Support for PCAs & CCO
- Pull, stage, and prepare items for showroom appointments, virtual viewings and photos/videos
- Assist in showroom appointments as requested by the PCAs
- Maintain inventory organization and readiness in NY
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of KPIs
- Assist in the preparation and management of activations
3. Shipping & Logistics Support
- Coordinate with the shipping team on delivery timing, shipping questions and post-sale logistics
- Assist with:
- packing verification
- shipping documentation
- Ensure shipping aligns with client expectations and advisor instructions
4. Process Discipline & Documentation
- Log all activity accurately in Shopify / CRM:
- photos/videos sent
- shipping status
- client communications
- Maintain clean, auditable records
- Support continuous improvement of NY execution workflows
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in luxury retail / client services / hospitality
- College graduate
- Clienteling and follow-through, e.g. managing ongoing client relationships to reach conversion
- Comfortable with high-touch communications with HNW clients
- Accuracy in operations a must
- Ability to self manage, as well as to work with a team
- Comfortable with working with a CRM program
- Knowledge of Shopify a plus
- Prior showroom support a plus
- Knowledge or interest in Hermès and Chanel handbags a plus
Compensation and benefits
- Base compensation from $60k-$75k DOE
- Annual bonus based on company performance
