Job Description:As an Assistant Product Development, you will play a crucial role in the development and creation of our garments. You will work closely with the product development team to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and design.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sample fittings to ensure proper fit and comfort.
Manage fabric outsourcing processes, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking.
Thoroughly check samples for quality, fit, and design accuracy.
Conduct factory visits and follow-ups for sampling purposes.
Coordinate fabric arrangement and dyeing for sampling.
Develop technical packs and facilitate selection meetings with design and production teams.
Oversee photoshoots to ensure product presentation meets brand standards.
Regularly communicate with factory and merchant teams via email to ensure smooth production processes.
Create and maintain new development charts and fitting charts to track progress and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a similar role in the garment industry.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and quality.
