Job Summary/Purposes
The Retail Executive is a key support role to the Retail Operations function, acting as a bridge between stores and head office. This role focuses on executing retail operational plans, improving day-to-day store effectiveness, and supporting KPI tracking and retail initiatives, while ensuring policies, procedures and brand standards are consistently applied.
Responsibilities
- Support the Retail Manager in executing retail operation plans, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and SOP guidelines.
- Coordinate with store teams and internal departments (e.g., merchandising, VM, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth daily operations and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly store performance indicators (e.g., sales trends, ATV, UPT) and consolidate insights/actions for follow-up.
- Prepare routine operational and sales reports, summaries, and memos for management review.
- Support store manpower administration: review roster submissions, consolidate leave planning, and flag manpower risks to ensure adequate floor coverage.
- Oversee shop supplies workflow (uniform/stationery/consumables): ordering, distribution, replenishment tracking, and vendor coordination where applicable.
- Assist in stock-related operational coordination (e.g., stock take preparation, delivery follow-ups, transfer/re-order tracking) and escalate exceptions promptly.
- Partner with Marketing to coordinate CRM activities logistics and execution support (e.g., store readiness, materials, basic tracking).
- Coordinate with Merchandising and VM teams to support product assortment readiness and in-store presentation execution at store level.
- Support retail projects such as store openings/closures/renovations/maintenance by coordinating timelines, checklists, and cross-team communication (as assigned).
- Maintain clear, timely communication between retail management and store managers to ensure consistent implementation and feedback loop.
- Perform ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holder in Business Management or related disciplines.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail operations / retail admin / store support (luxury/fashion/FMCG experience is an advantage).
- Strong coordination skills with a practical, hands-on mindset; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office (especially reporting and analysis).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with store teams and cross-functions effectively.
- Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
