Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Rooms Night Manager at Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo. The Rooms Night Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the hotel’s rooms during the night shift. This includes overseeing the check-in and check-out process, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving issues and concerns, coordinating with other hotel departments, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel operations or a similar role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies with professionalism and discretion
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends
Fluency in English and Japanese
Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
Hospitality-related certifications or education is a plus
