To strengthen our presence at our Amsterdam boutique on PC Hooftstraat, we are recruiting an experienced Sales Advisor. Reporting to the Boutique Manager, you will deliver an exceptional client experience across our full assortment, building lasting relationships and championing the House in one of Europe’s most demanding settings.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Experience & Active Sales
Deliver the service standard that defines Longchamp, across every client interaction.
- Welcome, accompany, and advise clients across the full purchase journey (needs discovery, product recommendation, closing) with genuine warmth and precision.
- Convert consistently while upholding a premium, unhurried client experience, contributing to boutique KPIs such as conversion rate and average transaction value.
- Master the full assortment (iconic leather lines, seasonal collections, and Ready-to-Wear) to build complete, elevated outfits and maximise cross-selling.
- Use first-hand product knowledge to guide clients toward alternatives when a piece is unavailable, turning potential missed sales into confident recommendations.
2. Clienteling & Relationship Building
Turn one-time visitors into loyal clients of the House.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through personalised follow-ups and structured clienteling.
- Adapt your approach fluently between local returning clients and an international, high-flow tourist clientele.
- Feed accurate, high-quality client data into the boutique’s clienteling tools to support future outreach.
3. Boutique Standards & Brand Ambassadorship
Embody Longchamp in presentation, behaviour, and expertise.
- Represent the House with energy, authenticity, and professionalism in every client and team interaction.
- Contribute to daily boutique standards, ensuring product presentation, cleanliness, and floor readiness reflect the brand.
- Share our heritage, craftsmanship, and materials expertise as part of the client conversation.
- Complete all mandatory training modules and apply learnings daily.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- A minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience, ideally in a premium or luxury environment.
- A proven track record of meeting individual sales and clienteling targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine service instinct, calibrated to a discerning international clientele.
- Comfort with retail systems and clienteling tools; familiarity with a system such as CEGID is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French or other languages are a strong asset given our international clientele.
