KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job summary:
1. Responsible in achieving the room and partial catering sales objectives of his/her markets and business segments.
2. Represents and promotes the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base of his/her responsibility through Customer Relationship Management.
3. Supervises subordinates to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
4. Maintains and updates sales records manually and electronically as required.
Responsibilities – (Key activities)
1. Constant customer contact directed towards existing customers and potential customers.
2. Handles a specific account base and ensures the production of room nights.
3. Responsible for achieving yearly revenue targets for both Rooms & F&B
4. Creates a target account list and provides strategies of account acquisition.
5. Adheres to target number of sales calls per week.
6. Conducts market research on the competitors and reports findings to the DOS/DOSM
7. Conducts proper site inspections of the hotel facility
8. Identifies and handles sales leads effectively and efficiently.
9. Represents the hotel and participates in domestic and international sales activities.
10. Creative contribution to product and sales development.
11. Fulfils Customer Relationship Management responsibilities and sales goals for defined customers through planned customer interviews.
12. During sales calls, carries out “cross selling” in accordance with corporate and divisional guidelines.
13. Monitors and reports on market and competition within own market segment.
14. Prepares and updates customer management reports and ensures all necessary follow up work is carried out on time.
15. Active distribution of product information and creates awareness in the markets and business segments or responsibility.
16. Active participation and submission of reports at sales meetings.
17. Assists in planning and coordinating sales activities and events.
18. Managers account base and maintains all customer information up to date manually and electronically.
19. Provides on-going advice and support to staff under his/her supervision.
20. Undertakes tasks as and when requested to fulfil the marketing and sales objectives of hotel.
21. Abides by the Rosewood Phuket Employee Handbook.
22. Abides by both the hotel and Rosewood Phuket policies and procedures.
23. Analyses, evaluates and improves personal performance on a continual basis.
24. Carries out other tasks as directed by the Director of Sales.
Required skills
1. Leadership skills and knowledge of all tasks within the area of responsibility.
2. Knowledge and experience in Internet and other major computer programs.
3. Ability to use Sales and Front Office computer systems.
4. Knowledge in Wholesale, Travel Industry, Events and Catering sales.
5. Ability and understanding of the market and competition.
6. Excellent written and spoken English. Thai are a must.
7. Good computer skills with minimum requirement in use of Microsoft Windows XP or higher, Microsoft Office 2003 or higher, Internet and other popular software.
8. Good interpersonal & communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as a team.
10. Experience in a luxury hotel market preferred.

University
Experience
Min 2 years experiences in similar capacity with international chain hotels.
