The Senior Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the Missoni Fashion and Home wholesale business. This individual will be expected to take ownership of the Specialty Stores day-to-day business needs, develop strong client relationships, and meet seasonal and annual sales targets.
The Senior Account Executive will be based in our US HQ in New York City on a hybrid schedule (three in-office days) and will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Thanks to our strong development vision, they will maximize the US wholesale distribution channels for Missoni thanks to a strong network of department stores, best in-class multibrand partners and digital players.
Key Responsabilities:
· Manage key Specialty Store accounts
· Develop existing businesses and target new sales opportunities
· Manage and conduct market and sales appointments in New York, Milan and virtually
· Proactively respond to shifts in sales performance and quickly identify solutions
· Visit key accounts to maintain visual merchandising standards, lead product trainings, and develop relationships with key sellers
· Liaise with Customer Service and Finance departments to ensure timely shipping of product
· Analyze and understand industry and company trends to provide channel-specific qualitative and quantitative feedback for the management, wholesale, and merchandising teams
· Compile additional ad-hoc reports and projects based on needs of the business
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 3+ plus years’ experience as a senior account executive at a fashion brand
· Strong track-record in maintaining significant customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Able to create and continually improve a streamlined sales process, resulting in faster sales cycles, high volumes of new business and improved close rates
· Skilled and confident negotiator
· Excellent problem-solving skills and solutions oriented
· Committed to excellence and highly results driven, creative and analytical
· Excellent presentation and communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening
· Fluent English. Italian is a plus
· Ability to travel up to 30%
· Knowledge of JOOR/NuOrder systems
