Smithworks Jewelers is seeking an experienced Senior Bench Jeweler with strong CAD design experience to join our highly respected independent jewelry store in South Carolina. What You’ll DoBench Jeweler Responsibilities
- Ring sizing and advanced repairs
- Stone setting and resetting
- Platinum repairs and fabrication
- Laser welding
- Restoration and modification work
- Quality control and finishing
- Custom repair projects
- Complex jewelry restoration
CAD & Custom Design Responsibilities
- Design custom jewelry using CAD software
- Collaborate with customers and sales consultants to bring custom concepts to life
- Modify existing designs and create production-ready files
- Work with 3D printing and casting partners throughout the production process
- Ensure custom pieces meet Smithworks’ high standards of craftsmanship and quality
- Help expand our custom jewelry capabilities and offerings
What We’re Looking For Required Experience
- 8+ years of professional bench jeweler experience
- Strong repair and restoration background
- Professional experience with CAD jewelry design (Matrix, RhinoGold, CounterSketch, MatrixGold, Rhino, or similar software)
- Experience designing custom jewelry from concept through production
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Technical Skills
- Advanced stone setting

- Understanding of 3D printing and casting workflow
