The main mission of the Senior Distribution and Allocation Manager is to ensure the perfect allocation of seasonal and permanent products in store, including rebalancing inventory within Greater China.
The Senior Distribution and Allocation Manager is in constant contact with local and HQ Retail, Merchandising, and Supply Chain/Transport teams to ensure timely launch of the collection in store, continuous improvement of the replenishment process, and maximum effectiveness of the inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the inventory deployment / strategically allocation, to optimize distribution across stores and warehouses, factoring in demand, sales patterns, and seasonal variations.
- Define and set target stock for each store and warehouse based on historical sales data, current demand trends, and forecasted demand.
- Continuously monitor and be able to identify risks and leverage opportunities.
- Inventory rebalancing across stores and markets.
- Stock reverse to optimize back-of-house inventory.
- Manage End of Life Product Fulfillment in outlets
- Shipment and delivery visibility is provided to ensure timely and secure delivery of products to their destinations, including tracking, communicating delays, and resolving issues with logistics providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and expertise:
- Results Oriented and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions, the ideal candidate must possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals
- 10+ years working experience in distribution planning with solid knowledge of replenishment models in the fashion industry
- Understanding and mastery of the main KPIs in inventory management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, and Power BI, knowledge of distribution tools would be a plus
- Proactive, solid interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective in working in team across geography
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
