As (Senior) Merchandising Manager of Women Universe of Givenchy Greater China, the person will lead the buying, in-seasonal activities to push business and ST, market intelligence sharing and team development
Job Responsibilities
Buying
- Lead the seasonal buying session by delivering clear assortment strategy and investment inline with company direction
- Lead the preparation and discussion of OTB
- Conduct granular buy by key store according to client profile and market needs
- Deliver collection strategy and product information to local 360 departments and stores
- Good awareness of market trends and brand future brand opportunities
In-Season to push merchandise performance and ST
- Responsible for Normal Retail stock distribution, allocation and consolidation
- Initiate and execute analysis and actions to maximize sales as well as achieve targeted sell-through rates, with close work with 360 departments
- Work together with Supply Chain team to ensure appropriate stock
- Review with VM Department on display guidelines to maximize sales opportunity while maintaining brand image
- Collaborate with Training team to identify training needs, participate in preparation and delivering of training
- Develop clientele insights with close work with CRM team
Market Intelligence
- Close communication with stores with regular market visits
- Conduct market research on market trends, customer behavior and competitor updates
- Develop close working relationship with HQ to share business insights, market intelligence, propose new product development and obtain recourses to help local business
Profile
Knowledge of fashion and luxury products, 10 years buying/merchandising experience preferred University graduate in business or fashion design (is a plus) Fluent in both written and oral English Strong analytical ability both quantitative and qualitative, good PC literacy Good interpersonal and communication skills, vocal Self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented, good team player Retail experience will be a plus Proficiency in Microsoft excel, word, powerpoint Knowledge in SAP, Qlik, Anaplan (is a plus)
