SENIOR VISUAL MERCHANDISER

We’re looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our Retail team to lead and drive visual standards in all Retail outlets. Hush has a number of concessions across the UK in John Lewis, Morleys and Fenwick stores. Reporting into the Retail Manager, this role works across both Head Office and Stores to develop and implement visual concepts that promote Hush, drive and increase sales and create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers across all our retail touchpoints. You’ll be leveraging your ability to create strong relationships with both our partners and the in-store teams to drive sales and standards as well as managing and developing our Junior Visual Merchandiser (North).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and circulating visual merchandising guidelines across all categories in a timely manner.

Implementing visual merchandising standards and a consistent brand image in all concessions.

Visiting and maintaining close contact with the stores addressing any training needs.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with Buying, Merchandising and Brand Marketing teams.

Driving commerciality through close partnership with Merchandising teams on stock needs and communicating clear actions for store teams based on stock intake and sales data analysis.

Reviewing use of props in store keeping in mind selling capacity and brand image as well as managing prop budgets.

Allocating all brand imagery ensuring it is season-appropriate and in stock in stores.

Managing visual spend, keeping in line with annual budgets.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive knowledge of womenswear fashion and visual merchandising, with significant experience in an area or field-based role.

Commercially minded with knowledge of the local market and competitors.

Highly motivated, and results-driven.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative and able to manage expectations of stakeholders internal and external.

Proven ability to inspire, manage, support and develop a remote team.

Flexibility and availability to travel are essential.
