Job OverviewBad Birdie is seeking a creative and passionate Social Media and Community Manager to drive our brand’s presence and engagement across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, a keen eye for content creation, and a strong passion for golf and its subcultures. As the Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping Bad Birdie’s online voice, engaging with our community, and executing innovative social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Create compelling and on-brand content, adhering to Bad Birdie’s creative direction and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the Brand and Creative teams to present and refine creative concepts.
Plan and deliver social shoots in coordination with the Sr. Content Manager’s concepts and content requests.
Coordinate, plan, and execute brand activations for product drops, partnerships, and community outreach moments.
Own and drive the social content calendar for the entire organization.
Attend and capture content at internal and external golf events, representing the Bad Birdie brand.
Stay informed about current golf events, PGA tour trends, pop culture, fashion, and social media trends.
Work effectively cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and community management.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing engaging social media campaigns.
Skills
Absolute command of social media platforms and community management, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Professional understanding of the latest social media marketing trends and techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Adobe Suite experience (primarily Photoshop & Lightroom) and basic photo/video editing skills are a plus.
Passion for golf, marketing, and social media innovation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
THINGS TO KNOW
This position will be working on-site in our office in Scottsdale, AZ. Our office is in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale and close to the best restaurants, nightlife, hikes, pools, gyms, shopping, spring training, hotels, etc. in Arizona.
The position reports to the Creative Manager.
